Update

Well, it took four days, but the downstairs is finally dried out. Our basement was extremely hot all those days because the de-humidifier they used was set at 102 degrees. We found out on Sunday morning that the water had penetrated into Larry's office and had saturated underneath the bookcases on the east wall. So he had to move out of his office so the fans and de-humidifier could do their work for a couple of days. Since Chris's old bedroom was dry by then, he moved some computers and desks into that room to do his trading. But today, all the machines got moved out, so we can return to normal. While Larry is moved out of his office, we are going to CLEAN IT UP! I'm so excited to give that room a good cleaning. It collects dust so bad with all that static electricity. He even said we can get rid of a lot of those books and self-help programs down there that do nothing but collect dust since they haven't been looked at or opend in years and years and years.

The Adams family arrived Sunday afternoon. Mawmaw prepared a big extended family dinner with steak and gravy, mashed potatoes, creamed corn, macaroni and cheese, salads, fruit, and dessert for everybody. This was at Chris's request cuz he loves that stuff. Suey and her family weren't able to come because Suey is still sick with a cold. We had a good time. Calley made a birthday cake for Caleb that turned out really cute. Josh and his family came, but there is something in Mawmaw's yard that makes his allergies go crazy. His eyes were really puffy when they left. Guess we better not go back to Mawmaw's yard for dinner very often.

I didn't get released from Relief Society on Sunday like I thought I would. The bishop has been really sick with kidney stones and underwent surgery during the week. Guess replacing the RS presidency is the last thing on his mind right now. But that's OK. We'll just keep serving until released.

Here are a couple of new scrapbook pages I made today.
